There were some people on twitter asking if this blog is also going to available in english. Well, first of all we planned (and will do so) to start off in Austria and German speaking countries. The reason is simple. We live here (Vienna), our network is here and have to start somewhere.
Eventually, however, we decided to start with english and german right away. The Internet just blends geographical boundaries and we thought why not simply make use of both languages and thus enlarge the spectrum of potential users.
Most of the posts on this blog will be in german from now on, but once in a while, especially when we have some announcements to make we’ll also post it in english. There is Michael and me working on this without any VC funding or so, so you can imagine that we simply don’t have a real company’s ressources to start to make this thing happen on a more “professional” basis.
Yet we believe that we are doing the right thing to serve Physicians around the globe. As a Doctor myself I have some insights in what Doctors need and what they don’t. Doctrs is going to focus on basic “needs” and for right now we’ll have to focus on providing a basic set of networking tools, rather than working hard on this blog 
That’s it for now…but it was fun to see the first micro-discussions on what we are doing here in twitter.
